BECOMING A DEALER
Thank you for your interest in becoming a UM Dealer. We offer reliable transportation and recreational products recognized for their modern design, superior engineering and competitive prices. We also value and provide the highest quality service available. Within the U.S., UM has an expanded network of dedicated Dealers who must also provide a complete and organized sales and service operation to meet our customers' needs. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, you’re in luck! We are currently evaluating candidates in selected territories throughout the country.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Fill out our Online Dealer Application by following the link at the bottom of this page. Always print out a copy for your records. After UM has received your application, our Dealer Development staff will forward your information to our Regional Sales Managers who will contact you via phone or email to schedule a visit to your facilities. During their visit, they will explain all the details about our products, support structure, dealer program, advertising programs, and if available in your territory, a physical demonstration of our product line. Note: Submitting the Dealer Application Form to United Motors of America does not imply, in any manner, our intent to accept you as a dealer and enter into a Dealer Agreement with you.
CRITERIA
The two most important factors for UM while reviewing your application are: 1) your commitment to actively promote and penetrate the UM brand to your local market with us; and 2) your understanding of the need to offer consumers high quality recreational and transportation products with a modern design, at affordable prices and excellent after sale service. Other criteria considered by our Dealer Development staff when reviewing each application include financial ability, business background, and service and parts departments at your current store.
INVESTMENT REQUIREMENTS
The investment requirements can vary greatly based on your opening order, location facilities, permits, signage, point-of-sale system, adequate operational cash reserves and other start-up costs.
