FACTORY SAFETY RECALL NOTIFICATION 2005-2007 UM V2C & V2S SERIES

This notice is being posted in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act. United Motors of America has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2005 – 2007 UM V2C-650S, V2C-650T and V2S-650, V2S-650S, V2S-650R motorcycles. The fuel tank filler cap may not be vented properly which can lead to fuel leaks or fuel starvation. (Motorcycles sold in California are required to have non-venting fuel caps and are exempt from this notification.) |
